I think you haven't slaughtered his name so much as combined all of his middle names in one word.

As for your comments about the hanging cat picture, I think "Hang in there, baby!" is just my default setting whenever I draw a cat. I think it's from watching "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" and seeing the hang in there cat poster on his wall. I'm so shaped by my nerdy obsessions it's scary!
